Enhance the theatre experience with digital programs

Dramaten - UX Design | UI Design
The boundary between digital and traditional media is blurring, and many traditional media such as TV, books, and newspapers can often now be consumed online. Another traditional media facing this transition is theatre programs, with their content and size diminishing annually. In collaboration with Dramaten, Sweden's esteemed theatre institution, I've had the privilege to be a part of a pioneering initiative. I explored user needs and designed a prototype proposal with the aim to enhance the overall theatre experience. With a focus on blending tradition with innovation, this initiative marks the beginning of a promising new chapter in how audiences digitally connect with Dramaten.
Project Overview
This project was conducted during my internship at The Royal Dramatic Theatre, more commonly known as Dramaten. Founded in May 1788 by Gustaf III, Dramaten has been a cornerstone of Swedish theater for centuries.
My Contributions
In this project, I was given the opportunity to be independently in charge, an experience that proved to be both enriching and fulfilling. My process began with conducting user research and resulted in a prototype proposal for Dramaten's digital programs.
Brief
The purpose of the project was to investigate user needs and develop a prototype proposal for Dramaten's digital programs with the aim of enhancing the theater experience.
"Emma is very forward as a person and drives projects independently. She exudes high professional skill as well as warmth as a person. Clients and partners have spontaneously and independently expressed how positively they experienced Emma during the internship. And we all felt that it was more as if she was hired for a sharp project than an internship period."
